This species has some extraordinary adaptations, such as its second pair of limbs transforming into oars to swim in males and forming colonies. The females are really large and don't stop laying eggs. The males go outside and search for dead leaves, seeds or branches to bring home. They live in subterranean holes, near the coast. Males form little boats with their bodies and search for food. The sometimes go with some females to make a new colony or to interchange genes with another colony. Those oar-like limbs are really useful for males, because they let them swim, and go towards the food. Also, they are perfect for show. They often have striking colors.
