Featherstalk
A multicellular organism that lives in Zone F. This organism is fungus-like in how it grows and lives. I gains its nutrients from dead plant matter from Plortatus spp. and L. potensus. It has a long and branching growth pattern, growing into the soil and dead plant matter around it. A single organism can continue to grow as long as nutrients are present. It reproduces asexually in years when nutrients are very abundant by grow a stem-like structure that is upwards of 14cm and produces pods of spores at the top. The pods are light weight and have two long stems that are covered in hairs and are feather-like. The pods are dispersed by the wind. When the pods have landed after being carried away they burst open releasing the spores into the surrounding area where new ones start growing.
