Electrobrachium tesla
Evolved from Macrobrachium electrica they look exactly the same but use the electricity to sense predators.
Found in zone 4. They feed on Raikos electra (to get its electric field),Taxonomum extensiensus and Algaerous yellowus. They can sense the electric waves with pores on its shell so they can escape from predators. When they sense predators they soon burrow and hide in the sand extremely deep. They get 2-10cm(with claws) living groups of the 500s so mating and communication to warn each other for predators.They can breathe in water and air aswell but if they dry out in the water they will die. When breeding they pair with each other and mate. Females carry up to 70-150 eggs (only 5-15) survive. Until the eggs hatch the female inclubates the eggs. When they hatch the babies ride on the females until they are 5cm which they follow the shoal.
