Evolved fom M. electrica they move to zone 9 and then developed bulky exoskeleton. Their claws are are now bulky and became mostly a burrower but in the night they forage. They use electric sensor to find food and detect predators which they either quickly go back to their colony burrow or burrow in the sand quickly. It has also turned omnivorous.

Found in zone 9 they get 22cm(with claws). They are burrowers and live mostly underground in the day using they claws to dig. They live in colonies of 20-100 but will fight for territorial. In the night they will come out of their colony burrow and grab food. All the members would come out but only young and a few elder M. gigacherax which guards their young. When they are out exploring for food they use their electric sensor organ(which they get it from Raikos electra) to find food and detect predators. They feed on Taxonomum extensiensus, T. stringiensis, Raikos electra and Tridactylus kleptoparsutii. Some foragers will bring back food for the young and elders. When breeding males fight for females in the mating season (autumn-winter). When mated the female lay their eggs(up to 50-100 but only 1-5 survive) and raise their eggs in the tail until they hath at spring which they live in the colony. Colonist may leave the colony to join a new colony to pass through genes.
