Descended from D. flitzanius, this species within zone G has adapted to the new influx of T. saharus. The main adaptation is that they now reproduce much more quickly, with their new extensions coming out very early in the plant’s life and much closer to the surface. This way it only takes a few months for new growths to pop up and begin growing. Other than this change these plants are nearly indistinguishable from their ancestors. The new extensions do sap some energy from the original plant, however. It now takes nearly twice as long for one single section to reach the same size as one of its ancestors.
