  • Size: 30-36cm
  • Reproduction: Sexual with internal fertilization. The males display by rattling their scales and showing their golden heads to attract females. The difference from its ancestor is the development of internal fertilization, which they do by touching their cloaca together and the male transfers sperm to the female. This was evolved since it guaranteed a higher amount of eggs would end up being fertilized due to the mucus that covers them when underground not being present yet and thus making fertilization easier.

Adaptations: A. victor has become more cursorial than its ancestor and has developed a longer tail to aid with balance, helping it outrun prey, competition, and predators. The larger size has also allowed them to turn tables on their previous predator, A. aviabeakus, which the now hunt when given the chance.
