Daily Challenge Tboneboss9 Daily Challenge - Evolve a producer in one of the zones that has nothing! This will probably mean you evolve off of a producer in a nearby zone, but adapt it to live in the empty zone. Can be underwater or terrestrial, just has to make sense.

zone, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, B, D, E are vacant - thanks @HorrortheTerror

this is an important one! Cheeto @everyone this is an important one!

Challenge: Right now, we are lacking biodiversity potential. Of the 5 kingdoms of life, (Animalia, Plantae, Fungi, Protista, and Monera), we are lacking 2. Fungi and Monera (prokaryotes). If anybody would like to create a common ancestor species for these 2 kingdoms, please submit them. Requirements: Must be VERY simple, this will be the common ancestor for a whole kingdom, so they must be basic and allow for much further development They must not evolve from anything. These are the first of their kingdom, they didn't descend from anything. Start in one zone, just like everything else. (the real life kingdoms are just an example, they don't have to exactly conform to the real life kingdom requirements)

New Challenge! Ctenolepisma So we have 4 kingdoms but two have much lower diversity.

Give the forgotten some love! Ctenolepisma Evolve a species in a genus that only has one species. Everyone is allowed 2 submission. The challenge will go until 2/10 at 12am UTC. Every submission will be reviewed at the end of the challenge. This excludes Dracowyverious, because it was made very recently, and any new genera that are made during the challenge. Viscera Cleanup Detail Ctenolepisma We need to clean up the large amount of corpses that are abundant in most Zones of Oefsy!

Evolve a new decomposer in a zone that lacks a decomposer. Everyone is allowed up to three submissions. Multiple submission in the same zone are allowed. This challenge will go until 2/24 12am UTC. All submissions will be reviewed by NSS.

Cry Me A River Ctenolepisma Freshwater zones have low diversity, we need more freshwater species.

Evolve a new species in any of the freshwater zones (14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 31). Everyone is allowed 5 subs. This challenge will go until 5/19/19 12am UTC. All subs will be reviewed by NSS.

Just as a reminder challenge subs do not count for your daily subs, these are essentially bonus subs to fill up empty zones or niches.

Just a Pinch of Salt HorrortheTerror Brackish zones haven't gotten much love, we need more brackish diversity!

Evolve a new species in any of the brackish zones (10, 18, and 30). Everyone is allowed 2 subs. Challenge will end on 6/1/19 12am UTC. We are trying something new, once all of the subs are reviewed, everyone will get to vote on which sub they liked the best. Whoever's sub gets the most votes gets to decide the next challenge

I don’t know what to name this HorrortheTerror For the challenge, a creator’s sub has to
  • take inspiration, whether it is an isolated trait, the entire concept, or just the physical appearance, from a picture in the slides provided below
  • There are roughly 30 pictures.
  • A sub can use one or multiple pictures
  • Pictures can be used for more than one sub.
  • And since this an adaption of another idea(and to encourage more creative subs) all subs will be parakaryotes.
  • Everyone is allowed 5 subs.
  • Subs have to cite the pic the took inspiration from
  • The challenge will last 1 week and ends on 6/17/19 12 at 12am utc.
