Carpefloat
Ancestor Unknown Zone 31 1 millimeter in diameter Reproduces via budding Derives energy from photosynthesis A simple plant, the carpefloat evolved on the surface of zone 31, away from the slurrgs and competing ovalgae. They reproduce through budding, each of their circular leaves producing smaller plants around the edge. Small roots hang suspended in the water, collecting nutrients that the carpefloat uses in photosynthesis to produce glucose as well as for cellular repair. Producing 5 new plants every 3 days, carpefloat is able to quickly cover sections of the water.
