Extinct (January 23rd, 2019): outcompeted by M. bitentaculum and S. filterous

An early organism similar to oysters. The newborn stage is released amongst the current and flows until it can adhere to a solid surface. It will then develop into its adult stage developing and hardened membrane that can open and close. The Capsis armous collects nutrients by feeding off algae and other micro organisms that get caught on its feathery mouthparts. Typically found in warm tropical waters in the oceans like Zone 4.
