Blibbphin

From OurFoodChain

Height: 2ft Weight: 20lbs Length : 3 ½ feet

Due to the more food opinion in the freshwater zone called zone 23. Blibber migrated to the freshwater channels. Unlike its ancestors, it evolved a smaller body. They feed on A. mikrapodia,C. pyrrhosynopsm, C. Ovirapatator and if the food supply is Low they will consume T. bonsanicus and T. longiceedus. Due to the appearance of D.caranaga in zone 9, many blibber populations migrated to zone 23 and slowly evolved into blibbphins.Due to there small size, they stay near the surface in pods like their ancestors. A pod can live in groups of Four and they work together to hunt prey. Once caught the prey item will be divided between the pod members but this behavior is rare to happen naturally since they have enough food for all. When hunting land prey they will try to grab them by splashing/wave tactics or by using there fins and oars to crawl on and grab the item and flinch them into the water to feast. During hunting a pod of Blibbphins will have to act faster working as a squad chasing and ambushing to success caught thier prey. With their small size and their fast movement they can secure enough food for a whole pod easily. Unlike their ansectors they have reduced hind limbs this is caused by the habitat instead of that they have evolved a powerful tail to propel itself.

Reproduction

The Brimphin reproduce the same way as their ancestors. Just smaller so if you want to know how here.

Blibbphin are ovoviviparous. Male will mate with females every summer. When pregnant the embryo/egg will develop inside the mother Over time the embryo/egg will grow into a fetus. Due to their small size, the eggs are smaller than their ancestors this is good because during the pregnancy the mother doesn't need to hunt which equates to less stress on the baby. Their eggs are 6cm in long and young vary from 5 cm to 11 cm in length and It takes 3-8 months for the egg to hatch/be born. The mother will give birth and the baby will exit the mother. the baby will rise to the surface and take their first breath. Over time the baby will follow their mother copying her actions and learn the way to live. The baby will grow into a subadult which takes 3 months even more at least 6 months and fend for themselves and the cycle continues
