Descended from Bulbus litorus 15 cm (pad diameter), stem is 20 cm tall B. aciecrescus is a close relative of B. litorus that grows in the shallow water at the edge of streams and rivers in Zone 14. They're fairly similar to B. litorus, and are only really different in that they grow in the rivers water, and have tendrils with weighted seeds on them. These seeds are large, modified spores, that now have a protective, heavy shell and nutrients for the plant that will grow from it. If the seeds end up too deep or too far out in the river, they do not sprout.
