This descendent of T. glidensis has achieved full flight after further refinement of their wings. The reason this species evolved to improve their flight is not only to avoid the S. purpla's spikes but it also makes accessing the carcasses that they evolved to eat much easier. This species has also been able to grow larger, maxing out at 30cm. They don’t fly quickly, but they are able to soar very high in the air. They have also developed an ominvorous diet, eating the carcasses of any animal they can find. To do this, they have grown a pair of curved spikes around their mouth, very similar to a beak. This allows them to tear through the flesh of the carcasses with ease. They also still have a fully prehensile tail, and will use it to curl around the branches of M. coilus for rest and sleeping.
