Extinct (July 16th, 2019): Outcompeted by Aerialslontus opposa.

A new genus descended from Terroslontus glidentus, this species has completely taken to the skies, spending the majority of their lives high in the treetops of zone D. They have taken every aspect of T. glidensis’ flight and improved it. Not only by benefitting from a mutated gene that caused an extra set of wings to grow, as well as the third segment of the wings disappearing, making the wings even more lightweight and less energy draining to flap. The body has lost near all solid bone structure outside of the spine and wings to further reduce weight. This species can fly continuously for a whole day, and still consumes the leaves of M. sustensa for food. Granted, the lack of limbs to land on the ground can be problematic, but they are able to hover in the air to eat the leaves without needing to land. The only time they land is to take short rests that they use to replenish their energy. They can only reach 10cm, and have a max flight speed of 15 miles per hour. They lay 15 eggs a month (but the individuals don't live more than a year) and the eggs are laid within the treetops
