Overtime as Pyrrhocytos draconem was being parasitized by Aevita scribo those members that formed fewer protein receptors that allowed A. scribo had a better chance of surviving. Eventually, this led to Pyrrhocytos legodium which lack surface receptors that allowed A. scribo in at the cost of some nutrient uptake.

They have an length of 30μm with a height of 10μm. P. legodium continues to use its Ferric Oxide detecting organelle to hunt Leucapil ferrum and incidentally eat Spermafera ferrumvora with them. Due to the lower nutrient uptake L. legodium consumes a greater amount of L. ferrum. They maintain their brown coloration because of their diet of L. ferrum. They continue to reproduce via mitosis.
