N. brachiupinna is the result of the N. remucauda populations moving to deeper parts of C1 after T. davincii evolved.
Adaptations: The Armfinned Bronisław has developed a larger tail fluke to aid in propelling the larger body along with its arms, which have evolved further into flippers. It also now has a brown colouration on the top of its body to better blend with the mud when seen from above.
