This arctic species of plant located in zone A has developed an extreme way to live. The plant takes a few years to reach maturity, growing less than one foot per year. The plant harvests energy and converts it to heat, and when together these plants make warm, radiating forests of heat, which may provide a great place for other life to begin. The leaves are small and spread out, and saplings may resemble a bush having 1-8 leaves. Blooms in June-July after growing to at least three feet.
