The A. Ebonensis is a descendant of the Arctata formisus, and lives within the frigid zone A. The main advancement is the development of black leaves used for capturing more light to use for radiating heat (used for melting ice and snow into usable water). Additional developments include the ability to direct heat (in order to kill B. psycrasapilla), and small slits in its thicker stem to radiate more heat. This plant is taller than it's ancestor, with bigger leaves which lead to further spreading of seeds. Groups of Arctata Ebonensis are not nearly as dense as the groups of ancestors, but they more than make up for it in heat gathering and distribution. Additionally, this plant blooms a black flower due to the abundance of its black pigments.
