Descended from the A. tastyensis in zone 18, this plant that still resides in zone 18, is a large, fast growing plant that has the capability to grow in brackish or salt water. While it can exist in all areas of zone 18, it flourishes the most on the edge of zone 18 and zone 7 where the water is saltier. It is very similar to its predecessor, except with a higher salt toleration and larger size and growth rate. It still has the same predators that A. tastyensis has.
