Anchoring Floating Kelp
Evolved from Kelpflotensa primaflotens that developed larger anchors to anchor itself better, with some stems going down to the sea floor and long stems. Found in zone 25 their anchors and stems that reach to the substrate now fully makes them fully stationary. Their stems reach to the substrate to absorb the nitrates produce by F. sporusii. Most leaves are found above the water where sunlight is abundant but it has leaves in the under section too which gaps of the top layer of the leaves pass the light through it and photosynthesizes the bottom layer. They grow to a max diameter of 3.2 feet with a height of the depth of zone 25 usually 20 meters tall max for root to stem to the substrate to root itself. When reproducing they grow little seeds(up to 10-20 seeds but only 3-5 grow to max size) which it let goes and be drifted by the waves to a new area without getting competition from the mother plant. The seed will germinate and grow an anchor part first then grow the first stem to reach to the bottom substrate while also growing its entire carpet.
