Extinct (April 19th, 2020): Outcompeted by P. manguca

P. marcops is derived from P. forensus and has evolved to live in the swamps of Zone H. By living here, it filters water in and out of it's roots. The trees can only grow about ten feet tall, and have a dark leaf color. Seeds are dropped into the water from pods that are developed in May-July. From here, the seeds root themselves into the ground and immediately grow straight up. Each tree can grow up two feet a year, and is able to reproduce when it's six feet tall. It can grow up to 10 feet high.
